Chess Piece - Knight
This is the process of creating the Knight Piece in chess
Firstly, before diving straight into designing the Knight piece, I first sourced an image off google. We then add it into Fusion as a canvas.
After getting the reference image, I start with tracing out the outline of the head of the Knight. To replicate the curves along the shape of the Knight piece head. After creating the generation shape, I went back along the outline to adjust the curves to match the line as closely as possible as well as to use the line tool for the straighter portions and to close off the whole outline
Once done with the outline, I extruded the head outline symmetrically on both sides with a combine thickness of 2mm.
Once done with the head, i starting tracing the outline of the base. AFter tracing out, i used the revolve tool and revolve the outline to create the base.
Finally, the Chess Piece is completed. Here are the completed design.
Music Box
This is the process of creating the case of a music box

I start off by creating a sketch of a rectangle and extruding the rectangle to create the base

After creating the base, i created the sketch of the side panel and extruded it as another body.

I repeated the same steps for the adjacent side. I finished it up by moving the panels together and merge the all the sides of the panels together.

The next thing i do is to create tabs for the bottom and right side of the panel. After creating the tabs, i duplicated the panel to be used on the opposite side.

I repeated the same steps for the remaning 2 side panels.

I finally use the combine tool to cut out the tabs for the bottom panel by using the side panels as refrence for the tabs.

Afterwards i drew up 2 sketches, one on each side to create the holes for the cover panel.

After the holes for the cover were made, i create a base panel to start creating the cover.

From the base panel, i drew up square sketches to be extrude to serve as the guides in the ring to allow the cover to be flipped open and closed.

To complete the cover, i added a semi circle extrusion to the front as a form of handle to open and close the cover.

Finally, to finish of the box, i added a hole for the handle of the music box.
